The Cartographic Heritage Group is a free union of professors, researchers, and students from the Department of Cadastre, Photogrammetry and Cartography and the Department of Geodesy and Surveying of the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and cooperating associates who are following and support the work and activities of the Commission on Cartographic Heritage into the Digital of the International Cartographic Association

The Cartoheritage Group organised the Tutorial addressed to participants coming from humanities, map librarianship, map archiving and relevant fields, held in the Historical Archives of Corfu, in the frame of the 10th Conference on Dgital Approaches to Cartographic Heritage

The Group has also contributed in organising and implemented the special map exhibition, the exhibition catalogue and the AUTH-SRSE students training visit in the Historical Archives

Prof. Ferjan Ormeling (Dr hon. c. AUTH)

Prof. Ferjan Ormeling received the title of AUTH Doctor Honoris Causa on May 7, 2015, under the proposal by Profs E. Livieratos, C. Boutoura and A. Kousoulakou for his outstanding contribution to Cartography. The Laudatio was read by Prof. E. Livieratos. Prof. Ormeling has a long cooperation with members of the AUTH Cartoheritage Group in the frame of university teaching and research and of the work in International Cartographic Association. e-Perimetron, 10th volume

The international web journal e-Perimetron, for sciences and technologies affined to history of cartography and maps, enters its 10th volume. The journal issued 4 times per year is in continuous circulation since 2006

I would like to point your interest to a new instrument of ICA, the ICA Research Scholarships.
