CartoGeoLab has a long and solid experience in map production, including all phases of the relevand digital process, namely the collection of mapable data, the elaboration/processing and the representation in map form either in electronic or in printed full-colour form. A great number of maps are produced in the frame of the undergraduate and postgraduate student practical work and also as the outcome of research and services providing.
The typology of end product maps are general medium scale maps, large scale city maps carrying thematic information and multi type thematic maps. Special care in the map production chain is paid in the geometric reliability of the map base layer in terms of positional and relational accuracy, in the tarrain shaded relief representation and in the over all mapwork design.
