In 2008, after 211 years from the publication by Rigas Velestinlis of his Charta (Vienna, 1797) it was proved the existence of two versions of this monumental map. See the  paper with this new finding concerning the major map of the Greek Enlightenment, posted originally in 4 October 2008:

>> E. Livieratos, 2008: "On the unveiling of two versions of Rigas Velestinlis Charta", e-Perimetron, Vol.3, No.3, 183-190 >>

In 2008, was re-discovered in Greece the world map by Anthimos Gazis (Vienna, 1800). See the paper, posted originally in 4 October 2008:

>> E. Livieratos, 2008: "The Anthimos Gazis world map in Kozani", e-Perimetron, Vol.3, No.2, 95-100 >>

In 2010 further research showed the existence of Rigas Charta one version's variant. See the paper:

>> E. Livieratos, 2010: "A variant of Rigas Velestinlis Version-A Charta: The Kapesovo copy", e-Perimetron, Vol.5, No.2, 103-106 >>

The research is in progress
